CFB's best running backs

The best college running backs, not pro prospects:

1. Adrian Peterson, Oklahoma- The best combination of power and speed since Herschel Walker.
2. Reggie Bush, USC- Mr. Do Everything should finally be starting tailback in 2005.
3. Lendale White, USC- Imagine having the best power back in college football as your backup.
4. DeAngelo Williams, Memphis- Has a chance to reach 2,000 yards.
5. Laurence Maroney, Minnesota- Without Barber in the backfield, he will top 1,500 yards with ease.
6. Gerald Riggs Jr., Tennessee- Monster season could bring home the Heisman.
7. Marshawn Lynch, California- Arrington topped 2,000 yards, no reason Lynch can't do the same.
8. Leon Washington, Florida State- Speedy back with tremendous power.
9. Wendell Mathis, Fresno State- Tore through the Virginia defense with ease.
10. Dontrell Moore, New Mexico- Needs to bounce back from injuries.
11. Lynell Hamilton, San Diego State- Year missed should not hurt him at all.
12. Jamario Thomas, North Texas- Will he lead the nation, again?
