Big Ten Troubles, LSU wins, and TCU Sucks!

What a crazy weekend in college football. Last week the Big Ten was an amazing 10-0, only Purdue had a bye. This week only Purdue's 49-28 win over Akron was the highlight of Big Ten teams ranked in the polls. Ohio State loses a close one in the 'Shoe to Texas, Michigan's offense never got going against the Fighting Irish in a 17-10 loss, and Iowa was embarrassed by Iowa State, 23-3.

LSU overcame the obstacles of the Hurricane Katrina aftermath
to pull out the huge 35-31 win over Arizona State. TCU fell flat on their face against SMU, losing 21-10 , after the huge win at Oklahoma last week. Despite a record breaking night by Brad Smith, Missouri loses at home to New Mexico, 45-35. Fresno State's Clifton Smith ran not one but two punts back for touchdowns, in Fresno State's romp over of Weber State.

I will recap the rest of the weekend, update the
Blogpoll top 25, and have my first updated bowl predictions Monday. For all other scores and recaps, please visit D1AFootball.com.
