Former UT QB heads to Central Cali

   Former Tennessee starting quarterback Brent Schaeffer has decided to take the JC route via College of Sequoias in Visalia, California some 30 minutes south of Fresno down Route 99. Schaeffer wants to return to the SEC after this year when he will have two years of eligibility remaining. I do not have any idea what drew Schaeffer to COS, when area JCs Fresno City College and Reedley College have produce more DI-A and NFL talent over the past five years. COS was a JC power in the 80's and early nineties. His presence only brings more eyes of recruiters to the Central Valley, as he should be one of the biggest JC recruits in the country next year. Anyone has any more info on this story post a comment.
   
   Update: According to the Fresno Bee Scheaffer chose COS because of coach Andy Siegal.
