Signing Day

There is not a more exciting day in college football then signing day, except for maybe opening day. Today is the day the waiting finally ends. When 17 and 18 year-old kids decide their future, while thousands of alumni, boosters and fans celebrate their college choice. The big undecided has already made a somewhat surprising choice. Life-long Florida State fan, C.J. Spiller, has decided to leave his home state of Florida.

"In the fall of 2006, I will enroll at Clemson University," Spiller said.

Miami, Southern California, Florida and Florida State were the other schools on his list, but the 5 star prospect from Union County HS in Lake Butler will be a Tiger.

Last year, he ran for over 1,800 yards rushing on 167 carries and 30 touchdowns.
